Terms of Service
Last updated: September 2026
These terms cover your use of visitamethod.com and the purchase of its products. The site is operated by Paulo Calisto, based in Portugal. Buying or using anything here means you agree to these terms. They are written in plain language on purpose.
The products
This site sells digital knowledge products: the Starter Guide (an ebook), the Implementation Kit (a digital toolset), and the VISITA Score (a written business assessment prepared from your questionnaire answers). Free resources are also offered. Everything is delivered digitally. Nothing physical is shipped.
Purchases and payment
All purchases are processed by Gumroad, which acts as the merchant of record. This means Gumroad is the seller processing your payment, handling applicable taxes such as EU VAT, and issuing your receipt. Gumroad’s own terms also apply to the payment itself.
Delivery
The Starter Guide and the Implementation Kit are delivered instantly by download after purchase. The VISITA Score is prepared personally and delivered by email within 3 business days of receiving your completed questionnaire. The current delivery date is always shown on the product page before you buy.
Refunds
Because these are digital products delivered instantly, you consent at purchase to immediate delivery and acknowledge that the standard 14-day withdrawal right for digital content ends once the download begins, as EU law allows. That said, fairness matters more than fine print. The VISITA Score carries a specific promise: if your report could have been written for any business other than yours, you will be refunded. And if something is genuinely wrong with any product you bought, email paulo@visitamethod.com and it will be resolved reasonably.
License and permitted use
Your purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use the products for your own business. You may share them within your own team. You may not resell, republish, redistribute, or share them publicly, and you may not present the VISITA Method or its materials as your own work. The VISITA Method, its content, and its trademarks remain the property of Paulo Calisto.
Honest expectations
The products provide education, tools, and assessment based on real experience and industry practice. They do not guarantee specific business results, because results depend on your execution, your market, and factors outside anyone’s control. Illustrative examples in the materials are clearly labeled as such. Nothing here is legal, financial, or tax advice.
The VISITA Score, specifically
Your report is prepared from the answers you provide, so its quality depends on their accuracy and completeness. The report is produced for the business described in your questionnaire and is licensed for that business’s use.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, liability related to the products is limited to the amount you paid for them. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law grants you and that cannot be limited by contract.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. EU consumers keep any additional protections their local law provides. The European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version will be published here with an updated date. Changes never apply retroactively to purchases already made.
