This website, visitamethod.com, is operated by Paulo Calisto, based in Portugal. I take your privacy seriously, and this page explains in plain language what data is collected, why, and what your rights are.

Who is responsible for your data

Paulo Calisto is the data controller for this website. For anything related to your data, email paulo@visitamethod.com.

What data is collected, and why

Email address. When you download a free resource, take the free Mini-Score, or sign up for updates, you provide your email so I can deliver what you requested and send occasional relevant emails. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.

Purchase information. When you buy a product, the purchase is processed by Gumroad, which acts as the merchant of record. Gumroad handles your payment details; I never see or store your card information. I receive your email and order details so I can deliver your product and provide support.

Questionnaire answers. If you purchase the VISITA Score, the answers you submit about your business are used for one purpose only: preparing your report. They are never shared, sold, or used for anything else.

Website analytics. This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how visitors use it, such as which pages are read most. It sets no cookies and does not track you across websites. The figures are aggregated and are not used to identify you personally.

Who processes your data

I use a small number of trusted services to run this business: Gumroad for payments and product delivery, an email platform for sending the emails you signed up for, a form service for questionnaires, a website hosting provider, and Cloudflare for website analytics. Each processes your data only to provide their service, under their own privacy and security commitments. Your data is never sold to anyone.

How long data is kept

Emails stay on the list until you unsubscribe. Purchase records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting obligations. Score questionnaire answers are kept so you can retake the Score later and compare your progress; if you want them deleted, email me and they will be.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access the data I hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict its use, receive a copy of it, and object to its processing. To exercise any of these rights, email paulo@visitamethod.com and I will respond within the legal timeframe. You also have the right to complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD, at cnpd.pt.

Cookies

This site keeps cookies to a minimum. Essential cookies make the site work. Analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) use no cookies. Where consent is required, you will be asked for it, and declining never blocks you from using the site.

If this policy changes, the new version will be published here with an updated date.
